just some reflections - I like to reflect:

some days people here seem dishonest and mean somehow. Maybe it's just living in the city. This is the only place that I have ever had problems, in my entire life, making friends

I understand people. Most thrive on rumors and gossip - and most people do not understand that assumptions are not the same as truth. In fact most people think that their assumptions are true. Most believe whatever they are told even if it controverts everything they know about u - they will believe it -if it's a juicy enuff tidbit of gossip

but I am so used to it by now that it doesn't have any effect on me

Sure why not. Nair works well in the hard to reach places.

we all make judgements everyday - whether to wear slacks or a skirt- take lunch in or go out to eat..etc...judgements are a part of everyday life.

What people tend to do tho is make judgements based on assumptions and lose sight of the difference between fact & opinion. Basically poor thinking. But then there are also some kinds who just want to believe something negative -

Another element has an agenda that goes a little deeper. Truly dishonest people with an agenda who will believe rumors and start them maliciously, knowing them to be false/treating them as truth in order to cause harm to another - in order to fulfill their agenda - w/e it is < they r the worst

I don't know many people like these I've described above, but I have unfortunately met a few in recent years - what an eye opener
