http://www.rollingstone.com/politics/news/17390/210904 indifference to all things political is one of the reasons we are where we are. not enough people care about how corrupt our government has become. scandal after scandal and the "people" keep sending them back to Washington. career politicians that went to Washington with little more than a clever campaign slogan, reap millions in benefits and the majority sit back and cheer. it's pretty pathetic.. whether you agree or disagree with the tea party, they are atleast making an attempt to change the politics as usual by making a case for something. because you don't like their criticism of Obama and the dumbocrats, they are the enemy. because they don't espouse to the take from one and give to another obamanomics you call them racist. for all the hope and change that went with selling Obama, for which he has actually delivered very little, you would think that there would atleast be some support for getting rid of bad republicans that overspent and turned a blind eye to what was going on during the Bush years.. But of course, that can't happen because things are just going so well.. |

But of course, that can't happen because things are just going so well.. I dont have enemies, personally, and I havent called tea partiers racist although I have noticed the seeming underrepresentation of minorities in their group,,, and I can accept intelligent and logical criticisms all day long, the ignorant, inconsistent, and personal ones are the only ones that manage to get under my skin(what his religion is, where he was born, who he has worked with or been in school with or gone to church with,,etc,,,) OBama and most of America made the mistake of thinking one man can CHANGE washington or any other institution, he became the poster boy for making the change happen when in fact it will(and I do think he said this in his campaign although most werent listening to that part) take ALL of us to change to make change happen,, and things arent going so well with that when those who run the country are constantly competing instead of trying to work together, and when you have such a party of NO going on since OBama was elected,,, but the irony of what is deemed as the tea party platform, that they supposedly ' don't espouse to the take from one and give to another' is how many of them actually do just that through government programs which assist THEIR needs,,, |

Critizing the democrats are also not what they are about. SHRINKING THIS OUTRAGOUSELY HUGH MONEY HOLE CALLED GOVERNMENT before it eats us... that is the message I got when I checked out the 'tea parties'. not what FOX says they are about. not what CNN says they are about. not what the wicked witch of the west says they are about. not what msnbc says they are about. listen instead to what the 'tea parties' say they are about. Government is to large and the private sector is suffering because of it. We ARE the 'private sector'. |
