as a ramen chef id like to state - that i personally dont find it shocking, but impressive. lol cuz i could burn water if unsupervised.......

I used to have supper ready before mom got home from work, so I've been behind a stove a long time. As a result of such, I had to work off a large belly - I'm a pretty good cook and I enjoy eating it too!!


Actually, I think that being a single guy that can cook is a disadvantage. It's like taking something away from the women you ask out. Women have been told for years that the way to a man's heart is through his stomach. As a result of which, one of the things a woman likes to do for a man is "make him a home cooked meal." When you can cook "on par" with a woman, you've removed one of her advantages, and thus become intimidating. You don't mean too, and I don't think she consciously realizes it, but she's not going to stick around after you cook her a meal.

Try doing the dishes instead, dry them and put them in the cupboard too. This is a better way to impress a woman.


(Of course this is all a hastily contrived theory. And now that I've discussed it, I'm kind of hungry.)
