Where in the Bible can I find answers to why so many ministers today are going through so many trials and road blocks as they try to preach the Gospel and lead their churches? Q. Where in the Bible can I find answers to why so many ministers today are going through so many trials and road blocks as they try to preach the Gospel and lead their churches? Isn’t there a verse that talks about the trials and testing we go through the closer our walk is with Christ? A. The Bible warns all of us to be on guard against attack: John 16:33, "These things have I spoken unto you, that in me ye may have peace. In the world ye have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world." 1 Peter 4:12-19, 12, "Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: 13, But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. 14, If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified. 15, But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters. 16, Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf. 17, For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? 18, And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear? 19, Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator." Ephes. 6:10-18, etc.: 10, "Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11, Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12, For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13, Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14, Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15, And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16, Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17, And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: 18, Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;" Pastors are especially vulnerable: The enemy knows the time is short and is engaged in a full blown attack against the Church. Pastors are in the front lines and according to surveys are being taken out at the rate of three each week in the US. Those who remain true to God’s word will likely experience attacks in the form of dwindling financial resources, personal betrayals by the people closest to them, and sexual temptation. Any Pastor who doesn’t have constant prayer cover is at risk. There’s no group in the Church today who needs our prayers more. http://gracethrufaith.com/ask-a-bible-teacher/pastors-under-attack/ |

John 12:47-48
47"As for the person who hears my words but does not keep them, I do not judge him. For I did not come to judge the world, but to save it. 48There is a judge for the one who rejects me and does not accept my words; that very word which I spoke will condemn him at the last day. ================================ You have to keep in mind, someone who rejects the word of God is already judged. There will be NO judgement for them. For their fate is already decided. On our day of judgement we will go through EVERYTHING we did in life, and be judged on each individual action we took. BUT, if someone rejects the word of God their fate is already made and there is no need to be judged on their life, for it won't matter "Deny me and i will deny you before the father" Jesus says. So again their is no need for any form of judgement, their fate is already decided regardless of the rest of their life. -------------------------------------- |

Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come". There is one sin that is not unforgiven and it is this one that Jesus spoke of.Many people have argued what this sin is and the majority of the people have concluded that this unforgiven sin is leaders of the church telling the people lies and distortions about the bible. They are calling the unholy "Holy" and the "Holy" unholy. I do hope pastors who are leading the church into destruction by doing things such as homosexual marriage realize there is a heavy price to pay for their sins which may not be forgiven. |

There is always the chance of repentance and forgiveness... True. A Repentant heart God will accept. If time allows. Luk_17:3, Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him. Luk_17:4, And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him. Act_2:38, Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Act_3:19, Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; Act_8:22, Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee. Act_17:30, And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: Act_26:20, But shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance. Rev_2:5, Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent. Rev_2:16, Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth. Rev_2:21, And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. Rev_2:22, Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. Rev_3:3, Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee. Rev_3:19, As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. |

There are many who attack and taunt around with "christians" because some "of us" are guilty of having a cut and dry approach. Sometimes christians can put self in the way. "Bible thumpers" can be bold, cold, impatient... Which only shows their level of faith & growth. When we don't have all the answers then comes the temptation to improvise just wanting to succeed at winning that soul to Christ. As if WE'VE gained the victory... The work is not ours...it's the Lord's... We are HIS laborers. We work in the power of HIS Love. Under HIS Supervision. His way. HIS WORD alone is sufficient to save a soul. There is an answer in the scriptures, to everyone who would inquire to know the mind of our sovereign God. When christians become self-righteous that is the time to "re-study"; there is such a thing as running with only a partial message. The WORD of God can prick a heart and give rebirth and even correct a wrong.
2Timothy 3: 16, All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17, That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. Hebrews 4: 11, Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief. 12, For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 13, Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do. 14, Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. 15, For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. 16, Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. |
