Anyone know how to look at the actual data being sent or received on a certain port in windows? Some kind of port monitoring software that isn't tracking the amount of activity, but the specific data?
For example, if it were running on the port used for web traffic and I visited the site, I would expect to see the http request and response headers along with the html source being displayed. This kind of thing is easy under unix-like OSes, but I haven't found how to do it under windows. Edit: To be clear, I am NOT simply trying to see http headers and source - I've found tools for that but none of them allow me to view actual data streams on any selected port. (That was just an example.) |
