What kind of syncing do you want to do?
If you use google products (gmail, contacts, tasks, calendar etc) so much of your activity is automatically synced in the cloud. If you want to sync your SD card, then you can use a general purpose directory syncing program - nothing to do with android. I'm sure there are other kinds of syncing you might have in mind. |

They got several in Android Market.
I am really starting to dislike my android. Every time I set it down or pick it up I am installing/ uninstalling crap and it constantly goes into silent mode just by putting the damned thing in the holster. On the upside, I did inadvertantly install a map to Mustang Sally's in New York city???? while accidentally activating a program killer that deactivated 23 apps with a single touch. YAY! I swear, if it wasnt for the Big Fart Button app...I would have already returned it for a blackberry. |

And you have itunes on the desktop already? Surely iTunes can sync the music on a mounted drive - otherwise it would be a very crippled piece of software. I would try plugging your android device in to the computer via usb, press the "Turn on USB storage" button, and tell itunes to sync the drive that shows up. And if itunes can't do that, I'd switch to a decent music/media manager. |

I am really starting to dislike my android. Every time I set it down or pick it up I am installing/ uninstalling crap Why are you installing and uninstalling crap? I'm doing it because I just got the device and i like trying new software. Now that i've figured out which program i like best in each of several categories, i've stopped installing/uninstalling crap in that category. and it constantly goes into silent mode just by putting the damned thing in the holster.
Is that a problem with android, or with the design of the handset? On the upside, I did inadvertantly install a map to Mustang Sally's in New York city???? while accidentally activating a program killer that deactivated 23 apps with a single touch. YAY! I swear, if it wasnt for the Big Fart Button app...I would have already returned it for a blackberry. Oh, its starting to sound like your touch screen doesn't like you. My device has a hardware button the side that turns the touchscreen on and off - I deliberately avoided devices that lack these hardware buttons on the side. Yeah, those others phones looked all sleek and sexy not having any buttons on them, but i like my phone to do what i tell it to do. I turn off the screen when i'm not using it, and i have no accidental touchscreen events. |

Naw...my side mount buttons are Speakerphone and camera...other than that...even the most inoccuous touch will download/delete/dickdial whatever random crap is going on with the phone when I am not looking at it.
Matter of fact, I recently heard my phone in a conversation...I put it to my ear and heard a Mingle chick who I talk to frequently in deep conversation with my penis cause he has a tendancy to call her specifically when I put it in my pocket. My penis has more long distance phone conversations than I do on this damned phone. Thank God I am on the unlimited everything package or I would be screwed. |

Krupa...
I first need to ask what is the name of the device, then I can help you with it. Most likely you need to download a driver from your Device Manufacturer onto your PC or Mac. Been a Android user for couple of years. Motorola Droid Motorola DroidX Samsung Galaxy Tab |

http://www.androlib.com/android.application.net-maicas-android-wsleep-qFjmt.aspx You might benefit from using the "To sleep widget" in combination with setting a screen lock code on your phone. if you find unlocking your phone each time annoying, just make the unlock code super simple. |
