Topic: Reid Calls Gillibrand Senate's 'Hottest' Member | |
---|---|
seems like he said 'we' which implies he isnt the only one who notices her looks an obvious compliment, nothing offensive about it if SHE wasnt offended Do you know one of the jobs the Loss Prevention people do are investigate claims for Human Resources as far as time theft and sexual harassment? I've had to suspend someone pending invesatigation for making a simular remark to another employee when I worked for Albertson's. But I guess it makes it ok since he is a Democrat and a Senator. did you know through osmosis about the comment or was there a COMPLAINT filed? 'offensive' is entirely subjective A complaint was filed by the victim OR az witness. Harry Reid now has millions of witnesses. so a WITNESS can complain about someone offending ME if I havent said I was offended? interesting sounds like extreme pc nonsense to me I can decide if I feel complimented or not, its noone elses business to decide for me In Nevada and California yes. You have to look at it from a business standpoint, a sexual harassment will cost a minimum of six figures in legal fees alone, let alone a judgement. If I had a witness or video on it then I could work it and pull the person in and talk to them and hope they don't ask for their Union Rep(bastards, thats exactly like lawyering up if your caught for a crime), cause those guys know most of the investigation tricks. ![]() Depending on how serious it was we could give them a verbal, write them up or suspend pending further investigation(which was a nice way to say your fired, since I never knew of anyone coming back from a suspension pending). |

That way it free's up the HR people(for the most part), since every store has a LP person. |

Uncle sam pays for fundraisers? Uncle Sam pays his salary. He is on 24/7, technically. Also he is Gillenbrand's boss, which takes it to a whole nother level. |

Uncle Sam is the taxpayers, and I thought that made him a 'civil servant', but since taxpayers servants have to be 24 hour slaves I guess we should start cleaning house of all those who have committed adultery or been drunk or offensive on the 'clock' not a reasonable expectation or a logical standard people have a right to private lives and decisions and personal opinions regardless of their job |

That's why they are paid high salaries so they can adapt. They are in a fishbowl 24/7. So he should apologize for his sexual harassing remarks and realize that he works for the people and it's OUR money if the Government get's sued because of his desires. |

Harassment is defined as "a course of conduct directed at a specific person that causes substantial emotional distress in such a person and serves no legitimate purpose http://www.uslawbooks.com/books/harass.htmes no legitimate purpose". he made a direct comment to one person who was not offended,, so he has no reason to apologize to others of whom he wasnt speaking about its as nonsensical as a cheating husband having to 'apologize' to anyone who isnt his spouse for cheating on his spouse just because their career puts them in the 'public eye' I have to just agree to disagree at this point, rather than keep repeating myself or reading the same posts over and over,,, |

I have NEVER seen you stick up for a Republican but are one the first to attack them. not likely, I really dont live my life giving or caring about peoples self imposed labels ( I have posted equally on muslims AND christians, I have posted on politicians irrespective of political party) I am not aware that I ever 'attacked' anyone, of the thousands of posts I have made, I MAY have initiated a dozen at this point I post opinions relevant to whatever thread topic I am posting in perhaps there arent many Republicans being attacked, or maybe the few who are are deserving of the criticism in my eyes but I can promise hand on heart, that I really dont pay attention to what political affiliation people are,,, Id make mention of the things Palin says and how they relate to my opinion that I would never vote her as president, regardless of her politicial affiliation.. in fact Id love a short list of either the republicans I have 'attacked' or the democrats I have 'stuck up' for... |
