I just believe some people are bored or they really want some one to chat with. I also believe if you're not cute enough you won't get a reply anyway.

Usually the only people i get emails from are ones i talk to in the forums whom i already consider to be me friend or the middle eastern one's who can't spell and send me a message with only 2 words in it. And i never usually reply to that.

I send men an email...to start up a friendship...and I say that word...FRIENDSHIP...so there is no mistake......

They never seem to see that word...like clockwork...they say we are a couple..love is involved...barking internet orders at me like "don't talk to this one"...."this one is just a flirt"...I am dead serious...this happens to me all the time....


so I really stopped sending mail...I dont need the aggravation and man-drama.......I will only answer those men I find the maturity level high enough that they understand FRIENDSHIP means just that....

And now I am taken anyway...so what the hell am I rambling on for....heheheh

Why is it that some people get offended and offensive at the thought that some people here in Mingle are only here for the friendship? Is that really hard to understand? Have you encountered the same thing?

I think the internet is THE place for a lot of people to get offended, because it's so much safer than doing it in real life.

And, as this is a site for all kinds of people looking for all kinds of interactions, why should we just pigeonhole everybody into one category? I've seen posts that say "Married people should not be on this site!" even if they're just looking for friends. It's a little harsh.

If I had a nickel for every woman who got offended on line because I wouldn't date her, well, I'd have about $5.85 by now.

I figure, hey, it's their choice to be offended. Who am I to tell them what to do?

If I got offended every time someone didn't want to go out with me, I'd be pissed all the time and have no one left to talk too!!!

I actually viewed a profile once...that's all, just viewed..She sends me an email back yelling all kinds of paranoid crap... ...I sent her one back, telling her to kindly F--- O--!!

People put profiles up, ostensibly for other people to read, and then they get all bent out of shape when someone actually does read it. Who's messed up here?

Granted, it doesn't take very long to read "I don't know what to write here," but multiply that by 140 trillion profiles (all of which also say "I don't know what to write here") and it gets really really repetitive and boring.

um well, in a case like this, i would consult the site administrators, and c what they would say.

personally, i cannot comment on a condition that runs through your head like this. i could get just like Eileena9....."i don't know what 2 write here".......
