Don....I have many opinions on things. But that is just it....they are my opinions. We all have them. Polls are really nothing more than opinions correct?

I'm not in Vegas, I'm in Carson City which is more a redneck town. Most of Nevada is redneck towns.

I think polls really have to be observed over time to get a true account of anything,, kind of like watching our health,, we can hardly decide because of two weeks that we are ill that we are going to die or never recover,,,,,its just a snapshot in time that is best used as a tool to observe OVER time,,,

Don't think polls should be publisized as anything else in media the poll hype influences voters one way or another and should not be reported until the final count or a sure win is clear. IMO

Polling in a political sense is mostly biased. It depends on what questions are asked and who asks them. However, with several polling agencies, and daily and weekly tracking polls, it's hard to argue that all the data is skewed. Don't forget that these polling companies get paid for what they do. If they are consistently wrong by 8 or 10 percent it is unlikely that they will be around very long.

I don't need polls to tell me the mood of the country at the moment.

It's pretty clear by the actual results of the most recent elections.
