Topic: I gotta ask... | |
---|---|
I've noticed since I've become more heavily tattooed that people have a lot more to say about it than when I only had a few that were even visible.
For the guys - Would it bother you enough not to date someone? Are you the conservative type that could NEVER bring a girl like me home to Mom? (If you are, do the tattoos secretly give you a half chub?) Yes, these are serious questions! For everyone - I know tattoos come with a stigma but doesn't the actual artwork and the quality of the artwork count for something? I am going to ask NICELY that anyone who thinks that people with tattoos are trash, PLEASE stay out of my thread. I really don't appreciate that kind of negativity. |

To me, doesn't matter if a woman has tats or not. I don't judge anyone for wanting to do it. I don't have any, but then again, just haven't done it because it never striked me to do it.
If I met a woman with tats, and we hit it off, I would be more focused on her....rather than the artwork. Hell, who am I to judge her for what she chose to do? If she can accept my dorky butt, then I can surely accept her for who she is. But you are right. Their is a stigma about tat's and that women who have them are trashy. I guess this comes from Biker chicks and the stigma that they are all slutty and tatted up? Anyways. Never dated a girl who was covered in tats. They don't normally like Goof's. Haha! |

"Love lasts forever but a tattoo lasts six months longer." ...more power to you sister, I think you look beautiful and anyone who would hesitate to know you because of your body art deserves to have rocks thrown at him...really BIG rocks... |

I've dated tons of guys with tatts.
The last soldier I dated was covered in them. Honestly. It was crazy but you're right girl .. lots of good art. Just because you choose to use your body to display that art should not be a reason to be hated on. I think they are cool |

I FULL on chub (aka girlie wood) when I see quality tatts on a man or a women! |

Body art doesn't bother me in the least... I don't think my mom would care either, haha.
For me, it matters what the art is of and the meaning/purpose behind it. And since it's a more interpretive form of communication, I often ask the "owner" why they got it... if the "owner" is important to me, that is. :edit: chubs is for the person... not what they're wearing, js. |

Thanks! I love my tattoos and my artist does gorgeous work. I can understand why some tattoos might look trashy based on their quality. Just wondering if people see them as trashy regardless of the quality? I mean what if Van Gogh was a live today and chose skin instead of canvas?
