I bow to noone but God. I do give respect to the authority others have earned and have no expectation of perfection out of anyone , regardless of their career title, religion, gender, or race.

Governments are given legal authority to declare war, which kills people

Governments also have legal authority to legislate and execute laws permitting the end of life to certain types of 'criminals'
