I am a huge fan of Japanese Animation (Miazaki, Studio Ghibli, and even some real oddball stuff like Tamala 2010) and classic movies (Akira Kurisawa movies for one) but when it came to monster movies Tokyo was getting destroyed every six months. In Akira Tokyo is destroyed by a mysterious explosion blamed on terrorists. Then their are the regulation Alien attacks where monsters come to the rescue but Tokyo is caught in the middle.

A joke among fans here is that Tokyo has the best construction contractors around becasue they manage to rebuild after every monster movie so fast.

I don't make fun of people unless they have it coming.

Besides, I am ill mannered and have bad breath too!

There is one Korean Animation I stumbled onto based on Korean folk lore called Yeu-Woo-Bie (the Korean title) but known as Yobi the Nine Tailed Fox here in the states. All I can say about it is you don't get misty eyes at the end of this one you are a heartless beast and I am VERY Draconian.
