Yeah, they had the occasional rockets overhead, plus working outside of the "safe zones" frequently..BUT they accomplished their mission 3 months ahead of schedule, which allowed for them to head home early

Yeah, they had the occasional rockets overhead, plus working outside of the "safe zones" frequently..BUT they accomplished their mission 3 months ahead of schedule, which allowed for them to head home early Well hell, they should all be promited for getting their stuff done under those circumstances and getting them done early! Is there any chance being in the guard that he is looking at being sent back to Afganistan or the US-Mexican Border? I know Obama is starting to send Guard troops down there. |

I haven't heard, but it would not surprise me at some point. I'm expecting it Well hopefully if it's anything it's the border since they are down there in a support setting and arn't doing any law enforcement activity. Afganistan might be kinda tough. All though I am sure he was trained well and has a good head on his shoulders so I am confident he will be fine either way. He should goto college and become an officer. I know a few people in the Army and Air Guard who have done that. |

well, however he decides, in the end, I just hope that he will make better choices than what I made when I was his age. I could have retired in 1996, had I been a bit smarter...I've offered my suggestions, but in the end, it will be his choice to make
