MLK dream did come true. It lasted until we had a Muslim President.

MLK's dream will never come true as long as there are race baiters like Sharpton around.

Funny, I did'nt hear Beck badmouthing MLK at all in any of his speech. On the other hand, I heard Al Sharpton repeadedly claim everyone there was a racist and a bigot. Seems as though "Reverand" Sharpton was not there to celebrate the legacy of MLK....instead he was there, as usual, to spew his racial hatred towards others. Did anyone even come to see Al sharpton? It would be good if for once...just once...someone ESPECIALLY THE PEOPLE IN HERE WHO POST THESE ARTICLES....could actually post what beck was saying WAS RACIST!!! Seriously give us something to debate here.Because all I see reading this article is Big mouth Beck spews hatred towards blacks and MLK.No facts,no quotes,no videos,no witnesses.Just a whole bunch of BS hoping it will stick to the wall and someone will notice it hanging there. This is getting old.Get some real news or post this nonsense in the opinion section for the NAACP. the bits of the rally I saw werent of Beck speaking at all really,, but I couldnt bring myself to watch all of it the racist stuff he has said in the past though,,,but thats not what I was referring to in my op, I was referring to the interesting opinion that Beck chose to ride on the back of MLK without even agreeing with what MLK stood for ,, What was it that MLK stood for that Beck doesn't agree with? "Well, you know what, Chris? I think that is part of it, but that's a part of it that I don't agree with. I think the bigger part - the thing that we fail to recognize is that is the racial politics, that the real agenda should be equal justice, an equal shot. The dream was judge a man by the content of his character, not the color of his skin". Too bad alot of white folks can't do that, they were not raised to do that. It is all good in theory though, so carry on. ******** is still bull, though. WOW thats funny because that was Becks quote |

MLK dream did come true. It lasted until we had a Muslim President. A president's religion is no one's business...but for the record Obama is a Christian...but again in a free country one's religion should not be an issue. I certainly don't hold it against him that he's a Christian because at least he's not a Dippical cultish type of Christian...we've had enough of that BS. It's in the Constitution. |

Only your records say he's a Christian, everyone else's is known fact that he's Muslim.
In any case, the Christians are racist, bigots who are into fearmongering and hatemongering, right?? So whether he's a Christian or Muslim, he's a racist bigot and hatemonger either way. So he's gotta go. |

They should not let racist people have power. Obama is a power triping fool. And Sharpton would sell his soul for obamas position.

They should not let racist people have power. Obama is a power triping fool. And Sharpton would sell his soul for obamas position. the majority of americans are racist on some level, but the test should be if a persons beliefs dont interfere with his judgement, for instance, I oppose abortion, but would that personal belief impede me from applying the LAW as a judge? I doubt it,,, |

"A president's religion is no one's business" "because at least he's not a Dippical cultish type of Christian" "It's in the Constitution" I am impressed.. And all of this in just a couple of sentences.. Freedom of religion...If it's Obama ..Freedom to hate people that exercise their freedom of religion.. If it's Bush... and cover it all under the umbrella of constitutional protection.. WOW... you were on your game with this post.. |

I think Bush sold out his religious following when he was caught telling folks that the religious right were nutbags or something to that effect. So his religion is questionable at best.

Sharpton Is a Turd in Societys toliet that really needs flushed Beck is worse. farrakhan(an EXTREME 'pro black') is raked over the combs ALL AROUND THE WORLD, so I wouldnt take it that far I will concede that in most places speaking up to maintain the status of the oppressors(historically, not individually) is seen as speaking up for the support of continued oppression brits in general dont have warm feelings about the english, for instance the english are in the position of power over most brits and so speaking up in SUPPORT of the english is seen by association as speaking up for their POSITION of power speaking up for EQUALITY usually means speaking up for raising the 'power' of the underclass up to that of the upperclass or speaking up for the ended OPPRESSION of one group which will require the ending of OPPRESSIVE behavior or policy from another,,, |
