So what are you doing with the rest of your day Ray? |
Are you sending me to bed at 9:42??
Hell no, I'm sure I could amuse you for a couple of hours yet
as long as I don't have to eat the vegemite

NOT a product I buy, I didn't even buy the local version of it often, when the girls were little. It is definately an acquired taste, & one I would prefer to not acquire.
Then why is it so popular?
A couple of reasons spring to mind, (1) there are those, myself included, who like the finer things in life, attractive women for instance, & others who have, for want of a better phrase, a dark soul, if indeed they have a soul at all. (2) There has to be some way of correcting ill mannered kids, that is still legal, in this P.C. world.

I wish we would have had it here when my boys were younger! |
There is a sadistic streak in your make-up

What can I say? I'm Irish and Lithuanian. Makes for a unusal combination

What can I say? I'm Irish and Lithuanian. Makes for a unusal combination Irish are always great party people, especially with booze circulating in the blood stream, Lithuanian would be an unknown quantity here. I don't recall ever having met one. Hungarians are great people also, but better sober than with any alcohol at all. |
Because I'm a lazy bugger, and it's easier to ask you than look it up, Is Lithuania still alive & well, or did it marry another country & change its name?
As far as I know it is still alive but I don't know how well it is doing. My Mother's father was Lithuanian. Her mother Irish. My father was a full blooded Irishmen and his family was from County Mayo. So I am mostly Irish. Not much of a drinker though. But I do have the gift of gab. Kissed the Blarney stone when I was in my early 20's and haven't stopped talking since

Goodnight Ray. Enjoy the rest of your day

Aha, a natterer from way back. Did you kiss the actual "Blarney Stone" in Ireland, or was that a figure of speach?
