You see next to the office where I'm doing my internship, there is a
hotel. Apparently, there is some kind of convention, so these people are walking around, and suddenly they stop and they keep staring at something for a few seconds. Then they keep walking and they find something else, and they do the same thing. Anybody knows what is that all about? |

Are they wearing funny clothes? Ooo...take a photo of them and upload
it to your profile! If you really want to know, tell us the name/address of the hotel and some bored person (possibly me) might try to research it. |

Hi, Walker. This is actually a well-known phenomenon. It comes from the
effect of working in an office on the functioning of the brain. If you blink your eyes several times next time people seem to 'stop', you will see that they actually keep moving. Clothing can do it to, especially under flourescent lighting. Try standing next to the window to get a more natural sunlight, and then taking your clothes off. You will see that you can control people's staring pretty successfully, this way. I hope this helps. Oceans |

@ Oceans
Maybe they are on a scavenger hunt? Maybe they are using cell phones with ear-buds, and talk to each other frequently about things so fascinating they have to stop and think about it. |
