Not sure why this was not MSM news! Anyone? The bomb was placed on the roof, had it been inside it may have killed dozens. WHY is this NOT news?

CAIR questions silence on Florida mosque bombing

"WASHINGTON, D.C.: The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) questioned the silence of public officials and national media about a bomb attack Monday on a Florida mosque.

CAIR, which on Wednesday offered a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the perpetrator, said media coverage has for the most part been restricted to Florida and that there have been no public condemnations of the bombing at the national level.

On Monday evening, a bomb exploded outside the Islamic Center of Northeast Florida in Jacksonville. Local, state and national law enforcement authorities are investigating the attack as a possible act of domestic terrorism.

"It is disturbing that, outside the state of Florida, our fellow citizens are largely unaware of the fact that a potentially-deadly bomb exploded at an American house of worship," said CAIR National Executive Director Nihad Awad. "One can only imagine the public and media response if someone with a Muslim name was the perpetrator of this apparent terror attack."

He congratulated local, state and national law enforcement agencies for their work on the case, but said he knows of just one national media outlet — AOL News — that reported on the bombing."

I suspect its not as newsworthy, so to speak, as the so called outrage about the new york mosque

pipe bombs dont usually fare very high on the media attention tab, unless it is tied to some other passion invoking issue

if the pipe bomb had been at a christian church,, it possibly would have gotten more coverage and if the perp had been muslim, we possibly wouldnt be able to AVOID the news coverage

but Im no fortune teller,, so I will pipe this up as not sensational enough for the american culture right now...

yes they are. ur correct. problem is, is that it is their medicine NOT OURS. we cannot sink to their level. that is the outrage in my opinion. we should be teaching people's who come from violent and vengeful cultures how to live in peace - not stoop to that same level.

Giving them a "taste of their own medicine" is admitting that ur just as violent and vengeful as u criticize them for. eye for an eye mentality is what we don't like about Islam, so please, let's not put into practice ourselves

and, it is defintely not the Christian way - see this is why I never go to church - Christians are so hypocritical sometimes.

it's also important to remember that a lot of muslims who r here r here to get away from the violent islamic extremists and don't like them any better than you or I do

Well, MSM is putting out there that Repubs are losing the Hisp. and Muslim votes. Although, I doubt all the Mega-Mosque protesters were Repubs.

I wouldn't put it past the Demonrats to be doin' that kind of stuff in hope of gaining Muslim votes.

CAIR has had some very ODD opinions in the past which makes me
question the sincerity and motivation of their latest complaint...

If Homeland Insecurity won't protect the Americans from 20+Million Illegal Invaders, why would they bother with a small handful of Mosqueetos?

yes and I totally apologize if I offended anyone. but I do hear a lot of so-called Christians calling for remedies that would have Jesus himself once again tearing down the temple walls in anger. not that I am perfect either, but I also do not go about preaching hate tactics as a "tit for a tat"

even if the religious aspects and inconsistencies don't bother someone regarding the mosque bombing ( trust me i have no particular love for islam myself), it is illegal, people. period. hate crimes, arson, terrorism those things are illegal in this country and THAT is what makes our country great.

I'd like to be able to say "I cannot believe what I am reading here" because I can...it's always the same RW people, the haters who encourage and inspire violence, and who use it for a political gain by stirring up fear and hatred....weird they think this is some way to win elections? Really?

They and their ilk only appeal to the most ignorant among us. These things said are from unevolved minds or a person's choice as a nature with hatred and ignorance. Some people get off seeing others terrorized.

Since these people support them I hope our US Republicans never win authority again. They've proven unworthy as Americans by not following true American values. They are of the Tim Mcveigh mentality in this country.

You are right. we all will get our just deserves in life. It's just unfortunate that in todays' world, (from a military point of view) lessons not learned in blood are soon forgotten...lets just hope we dont have to keep dying for everyone to figure that out.
