The website the meat industry doesn't want you to see.

"If slaughterhouses has glass walls"

Hosted by Sir Paul Maccartney

"Animals killed for food are neglected, tortured, kept in filthy conditions, and often slaughtered in painful ways, such as having their throats cut while fully conscious. I won't support this cruelty."

Wow meat seems to be the topic de jour, Human dont need meat to survive. Much as we may not want to, We can live very well without meat. If our reality was, there is no meat...Humans would adapt and survive. flowerforyou

Oh please. If people don't like meat, then don't EAT meat. Simple problem, simple solution. Preaching about the 'evils' of it doesn't work and just pissses people off ... Now let's go grill a huge steak ...

Thanks, sorry for the shock...but if only people were given the truth then they can make better more moral decisions about what they eat. There's no one forcing people to stop being cruel to our animal friends but simple knowledge can change that.

So if only we'd show this in schools....oops, wait, the Meat Industry (Big Meat) are allowed into schools to promote their products but seldom are Vegans allowed to show the alternatives...

....and the damage caused by Big Meat's products are also an evironmental hazard.

As a mother I would never allow this to be shown in school. At least at grade school level. This would completely tramatize and create eating disorders in children. How very irresponsible.

Sorry, but if this anti-meat propaganda 'hit piece' were ever to be shown to young schoolchildren, it would be the most vile form of CHILD ABUSE possible. What kinda sick mofo would want to expose CHILDREN to this crap ... ?

laugh laugh  laugh laugh

Ever seen the way kosher beef is done?

A Rabbi does praying while a couple guys saw through the cows neck until they hit the arteries. They shudder and gurgle as they bleed out.

You reckon some sick mofo would care for school kids to see those vids also?

Wrong, I raised a son as a single parent...one day (5th grade) he came home with a "Beef, it's what's for dinner" sticker on his shirt. I called the school and asked if I or a Vegan group could present an alternative presentation.

They sharply said, "NO!"

This is yet another example of an industry being allowed to trash our health, pollute our environment, and misinform people for their profits.

Bull! this is about irresponsibility, and tramatizing children who are too young to be discerning. If you choose to be Vegan thats your call however, Dont inflict choice on children who dont understand the concept of the choice they are making. Its sad really, The only time I think we actually NEED meat is as young children.

I've been in slaughterhouses and rendering plants ... and I've also seen the way animals are killed for Kosher approval. Just because it's bloody doesn't mean it's inhumane or cruel. The fact that it may APPEAR cruel to some folks does NOT make it APPROPRIATE or REASONABLE to show it to children whose minds and experiences leave them defenseless and unable to process this kind of information in proper context. They have NO conceptual framework that enables them to deal with this subject matter. It is one helluva nice way to EXPLOIT their fears and scare the living crap out of them, tho' ... that's a real neat way to instill that nameless, faceless sense of dread into 'em for the rest of their life. Other than THAT, tho', well, hell - let's put the screen up now and let them li'l kidlets deal with the consequences of our 'decision' to propagandize 'em ...

As for that 'vegan' crap - why not take it all the way to 'FREEGAN' ... ? 'Dumpster! It's What's For Dinner!' ...

Just sayin' ...
