They all want a chase. If you come on strong then they usually run. Don't ya think? I agree. But running isn't playing hard to get. If he is running from you he is an idiot, drop him like a rock. you deseve better.

If he runs then he is playing games or doesn't know what he wants - and can't man-up enough for honesty. Who wants a purported "man" like that? It doesn't matter how old a person is chronologically, if they act like a child - they are a child.

I don't play hard to get, I play hard to want. I figure if I'm a complete dweeb and you still want to be with me, you must see through the facade. It's basically telling me that: you're smart, committed, caring and have a great sense of humor. It's kind of similar to the hoops you girls make us men jump through, only it's just the one hoop.

Usually, once the thrill of the chase is over - the chaser is done and gone. I like to keep it simple: I like a guy - he likes me. We date. End of story.

Usually, once the thrill of the chase is over - the chaser is done and gone. I like to keep it simple: I like a guy - he likes me. We date. End of story. Let me rephrase that. I like it simple also, but I also like a lady that keeps me on my toes. I like the feel of what I call that infatuation phase where you just can't stop thinking about her. I like the excitement of having to romance her.

Those are two diverse perceptions entirely. You are speaking of keeping a relationship fresh which is a two-way street.

Women play hard to get, too. It could be that you're attracted to a particular type of man or similar traits; that may be the man type that isn't good for you. Sometimes we unconsciously set ourselves up in situations where we don't stand a chance because actually having a chance MIGHT actually be uncomfortable. Are you attracted to a particular type of man time and time again? Just food for thought.

I don't understand it. Those men have other options, or they dont really like you that much. Maybe they like you enough to give you some every now and then I have come to accept...they sometimes don't have the skills to respond to your advances or lack there of. They may be uncertain of your intentions as well. Not every one of them is a Don Juan.
