I would like to know if there is a way to block someone even if they haven't contacted me? Meaning, a person hasn't actually emailed me or nudged me, but he or she gets on my nerves in the forum, and I would just rather not see his or her posts.

There is no way to block or ignore someone's posts.

You can only block them from sending you messages.... either through an unwanted email or on their profile.

You do have the option to 'block' certain forum topics such as parenting or sex and dating. You may want to block a certain forum topic area, if that person posts a lot in that one. However, you will miss all the other posts by other people.

Yep, in the forums unless they try to contact you they likewise get to roam the playground.

I'm not one of those uberoffenders am I?

I think even if you were to block this person from emailing and nudging you, you would still see their posts in the public forums. If this person is attacking you personally, report them.

Thanks everyone.

And Andy, no, it wasn't you. You're funny. :)

Hi Obsidian_Butterfly,

justme659 is correct. You can block someone from contacting you in emails, nudges or IMs but these are open forums, therefore there is no block feature for the forums.

And please use the report button if there are posts against forum rules. The moderators will look into it.

Hope this helps,

Kim
