Well just got back from visiting HOUSTON & I now see that I LOVE Ca sooooo much! Would you believe it was soooo COLD when I got home I had to put my sweat shirt on & turn on my heater! WoW went to a BEACH & boy did it smell soooo bad! The water was soooooo warm that was nice...........got to actually go inside Joel Osteen's church (LAKEWOOD) & that was AWESOME! I I got to meet Miss TINA & I have soooo many pictures! Also KRUPA called me when I was DRUNK! lol Having NO mountains was not so great the great thing about Ca is I can hike anytime & Tahoe is just a couple hours away so I can SKI in the winter & I can go 4-wheeling in MY JEEP!

Id love to see Osteens church, I love his sermons,,,

I dont read many good things about Texas concerning human rights and guns so Im not sure there is much else there Id want to seee,,lol

I agree. I live here(his church is off 59) it makes absolutely NO sense to have a church that big. He is more of a motivational speaker. He always smiles and is happy. Its because of the 5+ million a month goin in his pockets. Not to knock him, but u can't tell me the good without some bad. He's too nice. People want the truth to be sugar coated nowadays, and he's the master

it all depends upon the style, I have attended churches which are a mixture of doom and gloom and salvation, and I enjoy those for their real time approach

but I enjoy Osteen and its not because I think he is sugar coating things, I think his messages are mixed with salvation and hope as well as the fate of sin,, that he happens to smile just makes his message that much more appealing

people can smile when delivering good news about the Lord, and when their life is full of the Lord, I imagine its hard not to smile,, which is all the more reason for many to want to choose the Lord,,,,,how many without solid grounding will want to follow a person who is always shouting and miserable,,,look how they did Reverend Wright,,,,,,I think I can appreciate both styles
