I have been single now for seven months and have not managed to meet one woman. I do go out, just not often. I don't like bars. I'm recently seperated and there appears to be no hope for reconciliation. How do I climb back on the horse if none are available? Damn it s tough!!

Not intimidating at all.

It seems it is tough in the single market for everyone, or so I hear.

Welcome and good luck in your search.

we all go through that. doesn't matter what color you are, if women like ya, they will go out with ya.

I doubt it's "intimidation" it's probably more attraction... A lot of people have the same problem... It takes time, let it go how it will and you'll meet someone.. Perhaps evaluating the type of women you're asking out and maybe changing it up a bit will change your getting dates..

Intimidated? Of course not. Why make it about race?

Like the responses. All men, black white, or whatevr in between, have differences. I'm really having trouble meeting women in this city. I don't consider myself to be ugly, I have a good job, my own place and transpo, jus nobody to share it with. I'm attracted to every race of woman, but some women I've encountered of the oippsite race have told me they are intimidated by black men. I am by no means a player, a pimp, or a hustler. Hard to sell yourself when no ones buying. Any advice ladies?

i'm not a lady, but my advice would be just be yourself. get involved with the forums here, and just joke around. once the ladies see who you are on here, it will open some avenues to you.

probably happens as often as it happens that men get intimidated by assertive, aggressive or powerful women

chalk it up as time saved not spent on those who arent right for you,,,you want someone that wants you so step past those who dont and keep keeping on,,,

good things are worth waiting for, i always thought

Hmmm... If you are one who thinks all men are the same, it is due to your limited exposure. That would be like stating that all women are ladies and men know the difference...

Men are men. There is a difference in culture and backgrounds but the basic men thing is the same.

And that comes from lots of variety exposure.

Those very things you mentioned makes the difference. Biologically, we are the same but that is a very narrow way to look at men and why there is so many problems with meeting of the minds now days. Before that comment was made, if a guy had said all women are the same; all hell would have broke loose and rightfully so.

But all women are basically the same. Cultural and background differences but basically they are the same.

No offense is taken there.
