Topic: Going on a date.. | |
---|---|
I have a coffee date coming up on Tuesday and I am really nervous. I have never been on an actual date. I haven't had to worry about this stuff for a good 3 1/2 years!!
What is a proper greeting for meeting for the first time? As a women I am questioning what do I wear? How am I going to do my hair? What do you talk about? How do I over come my nervousness/shyness? What don't you talk about? Any advice is greatly appreciated! |

Just relax. If you're meeting him, chances are, you both like each other at least a bit. And if you've already gotten to know him a bit, you both should know some of the others' interests. Finding something to talk about shouldn't be too difficult. Have fun .

Have fun . absolutely... just what she said.... have fun..and in bringing that energy to the table...you`ll both be able to feel more relaxed.... but if you are uncomfortable and do not want to stick around.....just be polite and make it short |

Thanks guys
When I get nervous I lose my confidence. He is very smart both in and outside of work. He is successful and has his life together. Not saying I don't because I have a good job, a beautiful apartment and daughter. I just want to keep my confidence. |

As some have said just relax and be yourself. As far as what to wear dress according to the weathe. Shshsh last two dates I have been on in the last month I've worn shorts and a nice shirt.... and sandals.

What to say? Start with "Hello"
As to what to wear .. wear the outfit you feel absolutely awesome in, ie .. what gives you that "I feel goooooooooood" feeling |

(1) Big smile.
(2) "Hello" and pleasant chitchat. (3) Say "I have lube" to take the 'edge' off the nervousness of the moment ... |

I have a coffee date coming up on Tuesday and I am really nervous. I have never been on an actual date. I haven't had to worry about this stuff for a good 3 1/2 years!! Any advice is greatly appreciated! What is a proper greeting for meeting for the first time? Salem Aleikum. (Reply, must:) Allah Akhbar. As a women I am questioning what do I wear? Casual, plain, soft, subdued, but showing some skin. Not lewd, but not leaving the man to guess too much. Skin is one thing men like to be sure about. How am I going to do my hair? Well. That I don't know. What do you talk about? Hey... did you find the place okay? what's good on the menu? Look out! There is a car coming, crashing in through the front window! How do I over come my nervousness/shyness? Blush. Miss your mouth when you drink or when you try to approach it with a fork full of linguini. Drop it in your cleavage. Let him fish it out with his fingers, and make surprized noises: Ooo... Auuu... OOOooo...ooOOooo... (best to jolt up slightly off the seat coincidentally to each short time that you raise your voice like during yodelling.) What don't you talk about? - Work - Exes - How much money either of you makes - Putting down each other's little Christian sects - Your days in college and the things the frat boys did with your panties - Altogether best to leave the talking to be done by the man, and go to the washroom every five minutes to adjust your make-up. - When you are in the washroom and the harlet walks in who sits in the restaurant behind you and to the side, and whom your date is constantly eyeing, then say "ssss..." and scratch her eyes out. You have to do this fast. |
