here its legal to carry concealed without a permit as long as you are legal ie of age with no felony convictions they up the sentence if you are caught in posession of a gun and a controled substance otherwise i'm free to tuck my little 380 in the side pocket of my purse What if you're a woman, who works late, and goes home on the bus or just walks home; and she's got felony convictions, plus a few grams of cocaine in her purse, besides the gun? Don't tell me the azzoles will arrest her. She's got to be in a position to defend herself, whether she's skipping bail or not reporting to her parole officer. In my town the city fathers gave an unwritten order to the cops to leave the hookers and drug pushers alone when they carry drugs, guns, and copies of Watchtower (opiate for the masses) in their purses. The Mayor insists that these workers of the night have the right to extra protection, because they are verily exposed to more dangers and possible violent deaths than police, coal miners, stamp collectors, and asbestos miners combined. |

I own a 12 gauge shotgun and a 45 automatic pistol, I used to hunt but now thaey are strictly for protection, in my neighborhood, U have to have some kinda protection or there is a good chance of being robbed!! Having my dog Cherokee is an added bonus she is a great dog with people but if she sensed danger on me, she would attack in a heartbeat to protect me or my Apt.!!!

Yep Mikey, Had some great dogs myself!I don't know why people say,(don't worry about the dogs,worry about the master)

All laws need to be regularly reviewed and brought to the attention of the general public .... not just gun laws.

i can honestly say,i don't have a problem w/people having guns,only to protect themselves though. cause i'm sure in connecticut some of them employees wish they had one,besides an exemployee

Might be a much easier task if there weren't quite so many laws... true enough ... that is another of my pet peeves ... every new law or addition to a law should only be allowed if two laws are repealed or two subtractions are made ... until we get to a point where there are a managable number of laws that the general population can understand and easily work inside of. |
