Has anyone else out there experienced the feeling that you are falling in love with your best friend of the opposite sex? What do you do?

Not since I was a kid, good friendships are had to come by , something like that could ruin it.

It could thats true....guess I'm just trying to figure out what is holding us back. Some of his friends that I hadnt hung out with much until recently asked us when we dated, because the way we interact and get along and i guess whatever he has told them about me made them think that we had dated before. We talked about it a little....I'm jsut not sure if we are both scared of losing the friendship or???

My friends have always been more like sisters to me, but there were a few I've thought about wanting to be more than friends, one I have dreams about every now and then, but I otherwise don't really think of her anymore.

I can see that....he and I are definitely...close to say the least...and not really in a brother sister sort of way

If you get along that well as friends chances are good you may make a good couple . At the very least it would seem awkward in the beginning but should you choose that route just be prepared that it may not not end up so well. I guess you need to figure out the value of your friendship before making a decision.

All good relationships start as friendships. If your friendship is strong even if the relationship doesn't last you may be able to remain friends. I say go for it. You only live once.

hey bee bee! you never know until you try.
talk with him about it and see if he wants to date.

you surely know each other well enough to decide
whether you both are really interested in taking it
to the next level - and if the timing is right...

good luck! it sounds very exciting!

You can ease into it. Go on a few dates with him and see what developes.

Friendship and dating have differences and if the same chemistry is with you guys while dating as it is with friendship, then you have found something special!

Best of luck to you and let us know how things turned out.
