Don't you hate when you are talking to someone, looking them straight in the eye, and they still say "huh?"? I am thinking of taking donations to invest in a bull horn.

I do that sometimes. I get overwhelmed sometimes, especially in busy/crowded/noisey enviroments.

It just goes to show they were not paying attention to what you was saying.... Sometimes my sentence isn't even finished and she cuts me off saying "huh?" |

I do that sometimes. I get overwhelmed sometimes, especially in busy/crowded/noisey enviroments. Yea if I honestly didn't hear them I will do it. If the room is crowded or noisy or whatever. But if I heard them I will answer. |

Tell them they are doing a perfect imitation of a carp! Then say "Sphincter says what?" See what they say.

It's probably because he's using peripheral vision to stare at your boobies!

I just don't repeat myself. I always say you missed it, never mind. Bugs the hell out of them. Then I kick them in the face and say " Say huh now mutherf#cker!!" okay that last part I embellished. I don't cus..

I know someone like that. Nothing seemed to phase them until I started doing that to them when they spoke to me and when they questioned me, made a joke out of it, 'well, you always do it to me' laughing. Got the point across without being offensive. Depends on who you're dealing with, it works, you just have to figure out the details. Some people have no idea how rude they are being until you point it out to them in a nice way.

I'm a person that will say " Huh?" Only due to the fact that I have trouble with comprehension. And, alot of times I don't understand what you are saying. So I say HUH? to have you repeat, so my mind can grasp it. OK. So, I admit. I am slow at things. And comprehending what is spoken to me is one of the things I am slow at. But. At least I have enough interest in you, and what you are saying, that I WANT to know what you are saying. If it didn't matter to me. I wouldn't say " HUH? "

This person could also be developing a hearing problem. I don't know what kind of environment you're in when this happens, but I work in a factory and if someone has dropped parts in a grinder, even if it's on the other side of the plant, it drowns out voices for me and I have to ask people to repeat themselves all the time because I have to read their lips to make out what they are saying.

As far as I know, this woman has been a C.N.A. all of her working life. |

I lost a little bit of my hearing working in a factory enviorment. |
