See, kids, THIS is why first cousins should never be allowed to marry ... too much inbreeding produces people like 'Prince Charles' - and the cast of 'Deliverance'. We may have thought 'The UN' and 'Onkel AlGore' were overbearing, smarmy, insidious, prevaricating, treacherous liars and cosmic weenies, but for sheer hubris and public smegmaticness, it's tough to take the crown from 'Da Pwince'. Our best hope is that his mother outlives him ... this guy really DOES redefine 'Whackjob' with his pseudo-religious 'I Am The Savior Of The World!' mentality. That's REALLY gonna upset Obama, 'cuz he thinks HE's the one for that job. Can't have two Messiahs on the same stage - one gotta go. He's just one more 'Do as I say, not as I do' strutter on the stage ... Hypocrisy be thy name, brah ...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1299099/Prince-Charles-My-duty-save-world.html My duty is to save the world: Prince Charles believes he was born for a purpose By FAY SCHLESINGER Last updated at 11:56 PM on 30th July 2010 The Prince of Wales says he believes he has been placed on Earth as future King ‘for a purpose’ - to save the world. Giving a fascinating insight into his view of his inherited wealth and influence, he said: ‘I can only somehow imagine that I find myself being born into this position for a purpose. ‘I don’t want my grandchildren or yours to come along and say to me, “Why the hell didn’t you come and do something about this? You knew what the problem was”. That is what motivates me. ‘I wanted to express something in the outer world that I feel inside ... We seem to have lost that understanding of the whole of nature and the universe as a living entity.' But the Prince has previously come under fire for hypocrisy over his eco-values. Last year he commandeered a jet belonging to the Queen’s Flight to attend the Copenhagen climate change summit, generating an estimated 6.4 tons of carbon dioxide - 5.2 tons more than if he had used a commercial plane. Critics condemned his words as ‘delusional’. Graham Smith, of the anti-monarchy group Republic, said: ‘He is under the impression he has been sent to save the world and deliver us from our sins. It’s quite delusional. ‘He will have to be impartial and keep his mouth shut when he’s king. If he really believes this is his mission and he disagrees with Government in future, he risks plunging us into a constitutional crisis.’ |
Give Charlie credit - not only will he rekindle the 'special relationship' between the US and Britain (albeit on a wholly new basis), he'll be the absolute best example the anti-monarchists will EVER have to abolish 'The Crown' and end royal rule in Great Britain.
If this is "Obama's second self", I guess I cannot have a problem with it.
Although I don't ever remember Obama stating his purpose was to save the world. For the prince: He has high aspirations that is for sure. He is in a position to do many many good things for that goal. |
