THIS male sparrow has clearly had enough of his squawking female friend – rudely closing her beak with his tiny talons.

Bird watcher Urs Schmidli, 55, spent hours crouched in his garden to capture the incredible moment on camera.

He said: “It looks like he decided to quieten the din down.”

I think this is part of the mating dance. He's pushing her head down towards his crotch for a beejay, (NOT a "blue jay"), and she's just a little bit reluctant.

Very-very human-like.
