I was with a different internet service once that said that noise could slow up the connection. For a while there, I was getting knocked off the internet every time a train went by. That's why I keep blaming the trains.

Is this site moving slow tonight or is it my puter? 
Must be the trains outside. I live right next to the main tracks so I'll blame it on that! 
I'm in an apartment building, Carol. But when they get real noisy like this, I can feel the noise in my feet & I'm 11 floors above them. You should hear them when the barometer's changing OUCH!!! They railroad shops are right down from me & you should hear them in the middle of the night. Can't wait til I move! 
Honestly, I'd rather hear that. I wouldn't be jumping 10 feet in the air in the middle of the night when they're making the trains! 
That would be really nice for it to be that far away. I'm imagining it like in the movies. A distant rumbing or whistle of the train. Is that close to what it's like?  Now if the police would stop popping people at the stop sign, that would be nice.

If you are up late tonight, take a look at the sky as there is a chance that you may see the green shimmering of the Northern Lights. The sun gave us a burst yesterday and it is expected to hit sometime tonight or very early morning. Not sure about southern areas like TX but PA is a good chance with a possibility of IA. Hope all is well. |
