I do love my meat, especially Iowa corn feed beef, but, I have to see it as a hunk of meat and not think of it as an animal. Goes for fish and wild game too. I cannot eat it if I see it being cleaned/butchered. Just give me the hunks of red meat. In that respect, I could become a vegetarian real easy if I thought about it too much. You have to remember...that is what they are for...to eat..by us or another animal..it's the food chain..they, the predators...would eat you in a minute and never think twice about it. Hear about that bear killing the campers in Montana yesterday? Yeah, talked about it on here last night too. One survivor was a visitor from Toronto. That bear didn't think the campers were cute..he thought they were dinner. The Bears have been really strange lately, wonder why? This is the 4th attack I heard of lately. I think they are losing too much of their hunting grounds. |
