Topic: What singles girls do on the weekend? | |
---|---|
Maybe it's not obvious why you are asking. If a guy friend asked me and I told him about my upcoming weekend I would not assume that meant he wanted to go out with me. Well..perhaps the question "why are you asking?" would be good. Why I don't go direct comes from the previous experiences. I had women stopped completely talking to me or immediately started to back away when I just simply told them: Would you like to meet this weekend? I'm free, It's up to you when..I got nothing going on. " Soon as I said that, they were immediately bailing out. I guess I'm looking for a woman who is brave and can stand on her feet. Maybe most of the women aren't looking for a date or to meet face to face, but looking of some sort of a pen-pal or "let's email each other 'till eternity". Sorry but this is the internet.''Caution'',we take especially when only chatted 1 or 2 times only.LoL |

Aww man! I thought the ladies would be telling us where they went on weekends. That way I'd have an idea where to start looking. Then start looking around their ex-boyfriends house or some dude with a 20 inch chrome wheeled Honda Civic with a 500 Watts subwoofer knocking the windshield out, they are usually packed with women and it seems like that's attractive. |

So not all ...(insert whatever) , but that doesn't help me now, does it? |

My opinion. Would sound like chit chat. If ya want to spend some time. Flat out ask. Hey baby how would you like to go up to Za's and split some 4 dollar pitchers and shoot some pool...... Trust me, my pick of a restaurant (having worked in one for 4 years) is not cheap at all. It's either an authenic Mexican restaurant with Mexican musicians playing live or Chuck's Stake House which asks for reservations 2 days ahead and I could easily go into a 150 bucks for a dinner for 2. I also have a few others (Olive Garden, and some other places where they brew their own beer) as a choice if the person in question prefers something else. Not sure - even if you hate me LOL- why you don't want that sort of a dinner, if not for me, but just eat something good, if I'm such a terrible person, right? I love Mexican food as much as anyone. Hell I would go out to dinner with you but once the Mariachi band starts, I'm gone.... |

Ok, this might sound funny to some, but I have done taking out a couple, who just wanted to know the place around..so I was like a tourist guide. They also ask me about all sorts of things..sometimes it gets annoying yeah..but I don't mind to help. Appearantly I'm good at taking out couples and showing them good places to party, also to offer advice to married people and ideas about raising children. And yet it's I am who is single and don't have any kids! |

EWWW what she said. lol.. As to the topic at hand. I have been asked that in person, and had answers I figure if a guy is interested in asking me out he will do so not beat around the bush. As for the internet... Nope meeting sooner than later is better. |

Me I like at least a week's notice as sometimes I play with my band or I may have to work. When I make a promise to be somewhere; I can' just ditch everything just because a guy called me.

If my plans are flexible I state that. However, I'm not so good with lasminute, literally. And its not even related to just dating. I've had businesses or work call and I won't make that switch unless its life or death.
This is why I'm a fan of texting so I can hash it out ahead of time. My friends know enough to let me know if there's something going on, full moon bonfire, sabbat/esbat event, etc. |

I usually work. Sometimes I go out or stay home and paint or watch a movie. I'm pretty basic.

We fill our weekends because we are single and would rather do something than nothing. Give us a reason to leave some time open for you. Ditto.............. I normally have plans to do things as well does not mean that things could not be rearranged to actually fit a date in..... |

Me I like at least a week's notice as sometimes I play with my band or I may have to work. When I make a promise to be somewhere; I can' just ditch everything just because a guy called me. I can see where a little notice is good, quite frankly if I'm doing something I know about well in advance (like my dinner theater) I usually ask at least ten days ahead, if not two+ weeks. It's just common courtesy to give someone some notice. But, on rare occasions, I find out about things at the last minute (maybe two or three days, sometimes less). I've had friends call at a few hours notice saying "We're going to ________ we have a couple extra tickets. Find a date and come along." Those are some hard dates to find. However, if a guy asked say on a Wednesday to see if you'd like to do something on Saturday and like Navy said above you already had plans (to go out with friends or play in a band) wouldn't it be prudent to ask the gentleman in question if he'd like to attend your event? (Assuming it wasn't a sold out thing and he could "tag along" and assuming you actually would like to go out with the guy) Just asking. |

I don't normally think a guy is interested and he just wants to chat. From this day forward, I will say "nothing baby, why"? Yeah right.
