feel free to, i would like to hear more... i always hear that money is the root of all evil, but i tend to think it is the evil. No....it's not money that is the root of all evil...it is the LOVE of money that is the root of all evil. |

No....it's not money that is the root of all evil...it is the LOVE of money that is the root of all evil. yes, it could be said that way too...but i think it's the money, it spawns just about everything we do, why we get up in the morning, what we are going to do all day, if we can do the things we want to do.... for some people, it's not love, it's a necessity. that initself may be there's more anger and hate today in the world. |

It's how one uses money that is good or evil. true... but it does have influence...think of what people do to get it and then keep it. murder, cheat, lie, steal, sell drugs,ect...seems like honest people are getting to be extinct. but then again, good and bad are just words, and what what might be good or bad to me, will be different to someone else in their mind. |

think of what people do This is my point....right here. It's NOT the money. If we didn't have money and we used a bartering system then dishonest and greedy people would be doing all those evil things to get the resources. It's the person who is good or evil. Not the resource. And, I'm sorry you think most people are like that. Most people are not. But enough are to make life very difficult at times. |

I think we have to seek positive people and positive things, I agree that it SEEMS as if negativity has gained in popularity and 'cool' points (people love the Simon Cowells and reality tv spoiled brats)
nice doesnt seem to sell quite as well as it used ot (leave it to beaver days,,,) It takes much more effort to find positivity these days, but when you find positive people , it makes them all the more valuable and appreciated,,,,so maybe all the negativity serves a positive purpose after all.. |

I dont think he is misunderstood so much as hated(for personal reasons),, one minute he didnt react FAST enough to the spill but the next his reaction was 'extortion',,,,,,nothing he does or doesnt do wont get criticized by some folks,, but thats a different thread it didnt help Carter either,, but I still have alot of respect for level headed , intelligent, and diplomatic types |

To say that money is evil is like saying that guns kill people. Guns don't kill people. People kill people. Money is not evil. People (some) are evil. But, that's enough of this. I'm gonna go play with my children and remember that MOST people are beautiful.

Because of the mechanical mechanism in a gun it can kill without the intent of a person. So technically guns do kill. Off topic but had to specify that. Money on the other had cannot "go off" by itself when dropped...lol |

I agree with what you are saying but I would like to note that when it comes to guns, and indeed it is people that kill people, guns make the job a whole lot easier and more efficient. Just point and shoot but to do the same with a cold weapon (knife, bat or frying pan) you got to get up close and use force. Not as easy. You will have less killings if we only had access to cold weapons vs hot weapons (guns). |
