Are there things you would give up for the person you cared about if they asked? My mom asked dad to quit hunting. He did, it wasn't a big deal to him. Nope I wouldn't give up anything for the person I cared for because if they cared for me; they wouldn't ask that of me.

i dont do the whole "i love you just the way you are, now change" thing.... independence is a must... being able to sit with each other in silence(and be comfortable with it). being ok with each others quirks.... it's our flaws and personal likes that make us.....us.....start taking that away from each other and you kill part of the spirit/happieness

For those who say they'd give up anything for the one they love, where does it stop? Would you give up your friends for them? Seeing your family? Going where you want? Doing what you want? Pets? Would you really give up anything?

Sometimes you have to realize that if that person isn't for you, then you tell them respectfully and move on. Eventually you will find the "one" person who makes you smile, laugh, and who you are your total self with. It may not even be who you would expect it to be. I have learned to never try to change someone, live and let live!!

I give up nothing...take me or leave me. Hence why my profile is titled "AS IS - NO WARRANTY"!!! My last ex expected me to give up living in a place I love, and a job I love that pays VERY well just to move him an hour closer to his family so he could see them ALL the time. I was THIS close holding fingers up about a 1/2 inch apart to giving in to make him happy when he left me for a woman he had been screwing on the side for who knows how long!! NEVER EVER EVER AGAIN!
