We have Wolf spiders up here that could carry a small child away... Okay, a slight exaguration....
I showed my son how to pick them off their web and place it on another wolf spiders web...
We then watched as they fought to the death!
You do not want to be bit by one as they litterly will bite a chunk of flesh off you...

That is so disgustingsick

actually you need to watch out for the hobbs spiders. for they can be poison
my daughter had one that bit her on her leg and she had to drain the junk out, it was gross, my youngest granddaughter had one on her leg and we had to lance it to get the junk out, it left a fever in her leg.

Brazilian wandering spider-

It is huge. It has one of the most painful bites in the spider world. It is the most deadly spider; forget the funnel web spider – this thing is dangerous. It has the highest human kill rate in the world. To make things even worse, a bite from this spider causes an erection that lasts for hours. No – this is not a subtle ad for viagra; it really is a side-effect of a wandering spider bite. Emergency room staff are able to immediately recognize a person suffering from a bite. Needless to say, the venom is being studied for possible medical uses for people suffering erectile dysfunction.

spiders are a delicacy in Taiwan...

A vendor selling deep-fried spiders poses with a spider as she waits for costumers at bus station at Skun, Kampong Cham province, east of Phnom Penh March 14 ,2009. It costs $2 for 10 deep-fried spiders, which come seasoned with garlic. The fist-sized arachnids are crunchy on the outside and taste like cold, gooey chicken on the inside.
