Alive I do believe. Doing okay I have not had a chance to try the recipe so thank you I will try it soon. It is an old fashioned one so thought that you would like it for your collection. I also have another summertime dessert that my late husband loved and I was requested to bring a lot to potlucks if you are interested. It is a different take on Banana Split Dessert, much better than any others I've tried. |

I will try it soon. I like banana spits that would be grand. I have a Indian fry bread recipe but it calls for bear fat.

Banana Split Dessert
1 stick plus 6 tablespoons of butter 2 c graham crumbs 2c powdered sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 2 eggs Firm bananas Lg. can crushed pineapple, drained 2 c cool whip 1/4 c crushed nuts (I use ice cream topping nuts) Jar maraschino cherries Combine crumbs and 6 T of melted butter. Mix well and press into bottom of 9x13 pan. Combine stick of butter, sugar, vanilla, and eggs. Beat until fluffy. Spread over graham crust. Slice bananas on top and then add pineapple. Top with cool whip, nuts, and cherries. Serve frozen or icy cold. |

Me too, it has been a real chore to find bear fat. Strange as it may sound you can find anything on the internet. |
