That's AWESOME!
Now hopefully someone else who witnessed it or heck maybe even the parents will.....PAY IT FORWARD! Let's hope at the very least that they appreciate a little better what they have and maybe next time someone else won't have to save their kid right in front of them! |

Awesome your sons actions, hope he remembers that as a dad. Some adults should not be parents. Examples From thinks I've seen or heard; a mother going into a bar for hours leaving her son in the car, leaving them in the hot car to go shopping, I've seen parents in a grocery store not paying attention and letting their baby stand up in the baby seat.
So many can you add to this? Ron |

My boys work the town's fairs around the state..it's a great job and their busting their butts and making bank! Last week an inattentive mom and dad weren't watching their boy (around 4 or so) and he went on the wrong side of the chains put up to keep people out of harms way. My oldest boy saw him and ran, knocked the parents out of the way, grabbed the boy and they both hit the ground. The kid was literally seconds away from having his head knocked off by the ride. At first the dad was pissed and all up in his face, till he realized my boy had just saved his boys life. So he offered to buy him a beer..my boys had to decline since he was working. He was the local hero of the day. Another proud moment for me, I get a lot of those! I so want to hang out with your sons. Haha. Really though, that is awesome. *smile* |

Great people raise great kids.
People scoff, but I remember seeing those child leashes and thought what a great idea, esp for little ones that can run off in 2 sec. flat. |

I don't have or even want kids but I find myself watching random kids in situations where the parent SHOULD be but they aren't. Maybe that's part of the reason I don't want kids... it's a FULL TIME JOB for the rest of your life.
Edit: DUH! Sorry Lori, meant to say CONGRATS on having a great (handsome, non-mingling) son |

So glad they have not made me a grandma yet, just not ready for little ones again, yet. We (he and I) were just talking about you today, did ya feel your ears burning? ha All good things! |
