I have heard of Fright Night, and I do believe I've seen some scenes from the film. That was a while back ago though. I need to watch that movie again.

The sequel was pretty decent too. Mostly because of Roddy McDowall.

Hi Moe,

Old school horror fan that's me!

Nothing wrong with old school, I love all of the Universal movies from the 30's and 40's, and all of the Hammer Studio films.

I have the Val Lewton DVD set which includes the films he produced in the 40's- Cat People / The Curse of the Cat People / I Walked with a Zombie / The Body Snatcher / Isle of the Dead / Bedlam / The Leopard Man / The Ghost Ship / The Seventh Victim / Shadows in the Dark

I was disapointed with the lost boys sequile. It did have some good deaths though.

Okay, so I got to watch Nosferatu earlier today. I didn't realize it is a silent film movie (which I had no problem with that). Overall, the movie was good. I didn't like the music choice for the film. It didn't seem to fit and was distracting me from watching the movie. (I tend to analyze everything.) I think this movie would be a great remake...if it hasn't been done already. But then again, there are so many vampire movies. slaphead

Yeah, whenever I watch any silent movie I usually listen to my own music. Nosferatu has been remade- Nosferatu the Vampyre 1979. Klaus Kinski plays the vampire, and Isabelle Adjani plays Lucy. It's definitely one of the best remakes out there.

And if you haven't seen it- Shadow of the Vampire '00 is an amazing movie about the filming of the original 1922 film, but it's done as if Max Shreck(who played the vampire in the original) was a real vampire. Willem DaFoe is amazing as Shreck.
