Sharia law will not be something we have to worry about here in the states in large doses.

Men here are learning that they cannot act that way here and it is a hard lesson for them.

Hell American men haven't learned to act right with women yet.

Women are going to have continue to battle to get the respect they deserve. Not the respect a man says they deserve.

American men are nothing compared to the way they treat women...go date one and see...

I worked law firm, I'd seen some serious abuse, the attorney had to go to the hospital sometimes to talk to the female.

4 years at a dunkin donuts, I heard screaming, I looked outside, a Man was beating his girlfriend with everything his got fist and all.
I ran out.. another guy got there before me, tried to pull him away from her, he knocked him down, then me and another person tackled him to the ground.... the woman was rushed to the hospital.
I was called as an eye witness, what's bizzar that it all started becasue she got him a pack of cig that was soft box and he wanted her to go back and get the hard one but she refused.

now for all of you kind people, I know we are not wife beaters, but I am just saying there are as much bad stories here.

sounds like you want to be a muslim... more power to ya...there are wife beaters in every country, but muslim laws say it is okay... did you know that in saudi arabia, if a man catches his wife cheating, he can legally chop off her head? and they just passed that law about 6 years ago.... believe what you want, but the truth is out there

Sadly there are some men in this country who are not even Muslim who think this kind of thing is okay.

Men who consider themselves the superior gender.

it's about tiger woods and the muslim laws...

here is the 1st paragraph:

Tiger Woods to benefit from Obama’s plan for Muslim Law
By Kelly O'Connell Tuesday, January 5, 2010

-Satire-

In a stunning new development, the Tiger Woods legal team has unveiled an ingenious strategy to help the randy golfer avoid the rough in his recent marital problems and possibly skip a financial bloodbath. The answer is surprisingly found in the doctrines of Muslim Shari’ah law. This solution presented itself when Obama czars and other legal gurus, such as “Papa” Cass Sunstein, and Harold “Koo-Koo” Koh suggested importing Muslim law into America. Intrigued, legal experts across the gamut now agree Muslim laws on marriage make perfect sense for the indefatigable romeo Tiger Wood and his web of female relationships, claiming it will also play well to the gallery.

Yea but I would more then step in, the guy would have a speech impediment and walk with a limp or be in a wheelchair for the rest of his life after I get sone with him. He will also have an Adidas symbol from my shoe engraved on his face. His only saving grace would be the cops showing up quick, otherwise it's street justice baby!

Women in Saudi Arabia are treated less than dogs.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Women's_rights_in_Saudi_Arabia

All women, regardless of age, are required to have a male guardian. Women cannot vote or be elected to high political positions. It is the only country in the world that prohibits women from driving. The World Economic Forum 2009 Global Gender Gap Report ranked Saudi Arabia 130th out of 134 countries for gender parity. It was the only country to score a zero in the category of political empowerment.

The ownership of a woman is passed from one man to another. Ownership of the woman is passed from the father or the brother to another man, the husband. The woman is merely a piece of merchandise, which is passed over to someone else - her guardian....Ultimately, I think women are greatly feared. When I compare the Saudi man with other Arab men, I can say that the Saudi is the only man who could not compete with the woman. He could not compete, so what did he do with her?....The woman has capabilities. When women study, they compete with the men for jobs. All jobs are open to men. 90% of them are open to men. You do not feel any competition....If you do not face competition from the Saudi woman...you have the entire scene for yourself. All positions and jobs are reserved for you. Therefore, you are a spoiled and self-indulged man.

Namus is associated with honor killing. If a man loses namus because of a woman in his family, he may attempt to cleanse his honour by punishing her. In extreme cases, the punishment can be death. The suspicion alone of a woman’s wrong-doing can be enough for her to be subject to violence in the name of honor.

In 2007, a young woman was murdered by her father for chatting with a man on Facebook. The case attracted a lot of media attention. Conservatives called for the government to ban Facebook, because it incites lust and causes social strife by encouraging gender mingling

All women are required, by both law and tradition, to wear a hijab and full black cloak, called an abaya. The mutaween, particularly active in Riyadh, Buraydah and Tabuk, can detain women who do not wear the hijab. Jeddah is more liberal.[9]

Islamic scholars in Saudi Arabia hold that among non-related men, women are obliged by the Shariah to cover their entire body including their faces. Women in Saudi Arabia, wear the niqab because they believe that the face of a woman is considered awrah. (Awrah denotes the parts of the body that are not meant to be exposed in public)

Women are not allowed unaccompanied in the presence of non-mahram men.

Sex segregation is strictly enforced. Khamisa Mohammad Sawadi, a 75-year old woman who was not a citizen was sentenced to 40 lashes, imprisonment, and deportation for allowing a man to deliver bread to her directly.[12][31]

Most Saudi homes have one entrance for men and another for women. Private space called hujra were associated with women while the public space was reserved for men. Traditional middle-eastern house designs used high walls and inner rooms to protect the family and particularly

Women’s freedom of movement is strongly limited in Saudi Arabia. They are not supposed to leave their houses or their local neighbourhood without the permission of their male guardian, and company of a mahram (close male relative). However, out of necessity most women leave the house alone and often have contact with unrelated men to shop or conduct busines.

In general, women are not allowed to drive, although it is tolerated in rural areas. Most scholars and religious authorities have declared it haram.

In Saudi Arabia, it is forbidden for women to be alone in a car with a non-mahram man, as it is considered khalwa, a religious and cultural crime.

Segregated bus services are introduced in Riyadh [32][60] with women riding in the back and entering the bus through a separate door. Usually there is a barrier in between; however women should remain fully covered while in bus. In other cities, there are separate buses and trains for men and women. Women are not allowed to ride inter-city buses and trains unless they are accompanied by a close male relative.

There are no laws defining the minimum age for marriage in Saudi Arabia. Most religious authorities have justified the marriage of girls as young as 9 and boys as young as 15.However, they believe a father can marry off his daughter at any age as long as sexual intercourse is delayed until she reaches puberty

in Afghanistan and Nigeria, women have been sentenced to be stoned to death for infidelity or pre-marital sex in recent years according to interpretations of Sharia law.

Any man who loves and respects women will make sure Sharia does not creep into our Society.

Any woman who thinks she would like to live under that type of injustice system should move to a Sharia State country and convert to Muslin.

Just make sure you carry a second passport and have an escape plan.

I just hope anyone trying to impose Sharia law here understands that some of us will not go for that here. There are those here who would dress all in black and go have us a little massage therapy with baseball bats on those individuals.

I DESPISE misogynistic people! If your wife hits you you hit her back. If she provokes you intentionally to the point where you are trying to get away from her and she chases you down she deserves to get hit. To just haul off and hit her becasue she disagrees with you? Not called for. To just beat your wife for any transgressions? Likewise not called for! Beating a woman for pre-marital sex? I thought we were past the Bronze age!

Sadly there are women who feel that their man cares for them if he DOES beat her. The ONE call police dread the most is Domestic Disputes. I have personally witnessed a woman getting the cap beaten out of her and when a good Samaritan tried to help she pulled a knife and stabbed him leading to an all out fracas with the police who arrested both of them and still had to beat her husband AND HER down!
Sharia Law sucks and so do those who support it!

Now conversely in Mexico they have this thing called Machismo where you are expected as a man to put your woman in place. Likewise Hispanic women will provoke the crap out of a man until he beats her into place. he goes to jail for a day and she is waiting for him to get out refusing to press charges becasue she 'loves' him so much. Seen that cycle a lot. Enough so I actually have no interest in Mexican women at all. I know enough about the culture to know I do not want a woman I have to hit to get her respect! That is clear she has no respect for me at all other than if I got "the balls" to put her in her place.

Humans are just SO E****ked up!

Crimes of Hudud include theft, drinking of alcohol, defamation of Islam, fornication, and adultery. Persons found guilty of theft are punished by payment of fines, imprisonment, or amputation of the right hand. (The left hand is amputated if the right has already been amputated.) Persons found guilty of drinking, selling, or buying alcohol, sniffing drugs, taking injection of drugs, or stirring drugs into dough are punished by a sentence of eighty lashes. Persons found guilty of defamation of Islam are sentenced according to the circumstances. The harshness of the sentence varies depending on whether the person is a Muslim or a non-Muslim. Flogging is the general punishment for Muslims. Persons found guilty of fornication are flogged. Men are flogged while standing and women while sitting. The faces, heads, and vital organs of the guilty are protected. The usual number is forty lashes, but this number may vary according to the circumstances. Adultery is the most serious of crimes. If the guilty party is married, he or she is sentenced to death by stoning, beheading, or shooting. Stoning is the usual method of punishment. Proof of this crime must be established by confession or by four witnesses to the act.

I been shoutin' it fer years.

We don't want no Sharia here.

It is the Law of peace. Fear, keeps one humble and Law abiding.

But, like here, some will push it thinking they won't get caught.

I have always attempted to let the women know, they lose all with Sharia.
