It's hilarious I've read three pages of such a mundane discussion. You know what? It's (life) all good. You will always be disappointed in people when you are placing expectations on them..........YOUR expectations. When things are right it will just click. Quit looking and just be yourself (assuming you have a reasonable idea who you are and are comfortable with that)........and things work themselves out

Nobody ever responded to me either, and I've written 4 books.

So I just posted 26,000 times in the forums, and now they write to me.

thats the reason.. you write them.. then deactivate, they cant respond back to you.

Seems like his modus operandi is to come in, stir up a buncha *&^%, and then deactivate until the next night, when he'll come back and do the same thing.

Ya know I could sit here and give all the reasons I want to of why I don't have a partner. But........in reality will it get me one ohhhhhhh hell nooooooooooo. Instead it would push those that might be interested away.... No one wants someone that whines, clingy, needy or depressed all the time...

Ya know most that are happy being alone those are the ones that more would rather hang around....

I don't get why some guys throw their number out there like that. That is when I hit the delete button.

I got an email a little bit ago with a number, telling me to text or call. Then he wanted to know why I'd rather waste my time emailing, rather than texting.

lol...I try to respond to every email and every flirt I get, I even try to send an acknowlegment note to every one who views me, just to let them know I appreciate their taking the time and effort to reach into my life for a second. Before I respond, I READ their profile, (unless it is three pages long, then I scan through it ) The funniest thing is, quite often I fall outside the age parameters they have set for whom they are interested in meeting, but, I still respond. Granted, I am certain I miss a few inadvertently. And, I never expect a response, nor require one. But, I don't have to deal with too many of any of the above contacts daily
