Have you picked up some really good ideas from others here, regarding about dating and what you might be doing wrong? Did any members or posts here made you change your mind or shaped your opinion a littlebit? As far as dating not really for I know what went wrong within my past relationships dealt with them and moved on. As far as the words of others on here have they changed my opinion. Sure they have I look at Poetry totally different then I did at one time I actually enjoy reading it now. I can see now why those in a abusive relationship stayed as they did. I also see that getting to know others whether it be online or offline it still takes time for the true person to float to the top at times..... and they can be more deceiving online then in person...... But I have learned that even with thousand miles between others true friendships can be formed............and is only enhanced once you meet them in person.......... ect..........ect..........ect....... |

Have you picked up some really good ideas from others here, regarding about dating and what you might be doing wrong? Did any members or posts here made you change your mind or shaped your opinion a littlebit? I don’t think I have done anything “wrong” in my dating life. I’m single because I haven’t met anyone with whom I want to be in a relationship. If I was cycling in and out of first dates and 1-month relationships then I would definitely explore my relationship skills. The only relationships I’ve had were all long term (4 years and 6 years) and they just ran their course. The guys didn’t want to get married. From that, I’ve learned NOT to be with a man who doesn’t want to marry and to bail from a relationship soon after a year if marriage in not in our future. I don’t play house and live with my boyfriends – and I don’t want to “date” for years again. Yeah, I’ve learned but not necessarily from behavioral issues; I did, however, learn to set up boundaries. |

I realized, but not from here, that I got into LTR's with unavailable men. The more I analyzed that I realized I did it for a reason. and Ya .. I don't think a lot of people on dating sites necessarily do things 'wrong' .. just because we are single, doesn't necessarily mean we're making mistakes. The 'right one' is someone very worth waiting for  |
