Why is it that Iran seems to be the only country in the middle east that will not bow down to the U.S.?

They are different than the other Arab countries as they claim to be the Old Persian Empire.

And by old maps from just the 20th century they were called Persia.

They believe a Messiah is coming the Mahdi.

Why is it all we here is bad news about them on the news yet really very little news about who they are?

I have to think that part of why they don't like America over there is that way back in the 1950s they actually had a democratic government that the CIA overthrew so that the Americans and Brits could install a despotic monarch who'd give them cheaper oil.

You know what I always found funny, though? The name of the country "Iran" actually means "Land of the Aryans" in Persian, but you never see any blue-eyed blonde Iranians.

They won't just bow down to the U.S. they won't follow anyone. They never will. There will never be piece in the middle east. That has done been prophesied years ago when Jesus was crucified. For the crucifixion their will never be piece in the middle east.

I have to believe they believe they are the chosen people. Even refering to the Torah.

Cyrus is spoken of many times in the Bible as are many Persian kings. They thought highly of the Israelites Diety Yahweh speaking in manuscripts of thier own of the great knowledge these people had.

Even in 70ad destruction of Jerusalem when the Jews and new converts were fleeing for thier lives the Persians gave them asylem.

Since the Tigris I believe was the Truce line for the Roman Empire and Persian.

Even Peter speaks of the Assemblies in Babylon which was Persia.

So to me some is hard to understand why they hate Israel now.

Somewhere this hatred had to come along since 70ad where u can find the Jews and New converts fled to already established Assemblies and throughout what old Persia was you can find names of cities who fall in line with the names of Davids Descendants.

I would not even be suprised if the words he has used to destroy Israel are not from the Book of Wisdom itself.The Ps.

Ps 83:1-5

Do not keep silent, O Elohim!
Do not hold Your peace,
And do not be still, O Elohim!
2 For behold, Your enemies make a tumult;
And those who hate You have lifted up their head.
3 They have taken crafty counsel against Your people,

They form a confederacy against You:

Yet i do not believe none of the nationed that is metioned as saying this was ever part of the Persian Empire.

Moab and the Hagrites;
7 Gebal, Ammon, and Amalek;
Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre;
8 Assyria also has joined with them;
They have helped the children of Lot.

About 500 years after this psalm was written all the peoples mentioned in Psalm 83 were part of the Persian Empire.

If what you are suggesting is true, it makes the Hazrat Mahdi the Beast in the book of Revelation chapter 13...(the anti-christ)

By that u could say David's Descendents were part of it also. So were the New Believers the Book of Peter speaks of also.

The Persian Empire was friends of the Israelites for a very long time.The 10 who Ps. 83 mentions is very distinct to our time right now. Thier are several family members mentioned who felt they got the Messianic Blessing through them that did not. All but 2 i guess.

As far as the Anti-messiah i do not see him or whatever coming from iran's philosophies.

One thing we must remember he will not be known as anyone but who preaches peace and love. He will decieve 99.999999% of the earths population before he is found out.. Blessings....Miles
