Will it really take to clean up BP and Transocean's mess?

Do you think there is even enough money to fix this mess at all?

How about manpower???

Five states worth of environmental havoc!

And the wells still keep spewing!

Also are you boycotting BP and Arco like I am????

All BP stations are Independently owned. The stations, the distributors, the truckers are all independent contractors. Boycotting them especially in the Gulf states only hurts the people there more.

They will just send the gas elsewhere to sell....

Its a no win situation!!!!!!

They are in about everything we use from plastics to lipsticks

WE may ave to defer to Mexico or Kuwait who (so far) have survived worse oil leaks,,,,,,

Kuwait - 1991 - 520 million gallons

Mexico - 1980 - 100 million gallons

Our leak has exceeded that by a long shot so far!

We need to push harder for alternative fuels!

Biofules are the answer but people believe big oil more!

I believe you Andy but we kept working on the bio fuel and I think we will win because the price of fuel is going to go up with the BP oil spill I herd the other day that the new law and regulation that is going to come from the government is going to make drilling off shore really expensive

No, I'm not gonna boycott BP for this ... their stations aren't company-owned, they're franchises, and I see no point in hurting American citizens ... Obama has already done enough of that with his thug shakedown for $20BN to 'redistribute' to his union buddies ... anyone who thinks that money's gonna go to the people who actually need it better think again ... a TRIAL LAWYER who screwed up the disbursement of funds for the 9/11 victims, the Holocaust survivors, and a couple other high-profile cases will make sure this goes into the pockes of O's buds ... So a boycott of American-owned and operated BP stations is kinda pointless ... I WILL, however, boycott CITGO and whatever other name Chavez decides to call his operation ... As for biofuels - yeah, nice idea, but where's the infrastructure? Like it or not, we are, for the foreseeable future, a PETROLEUM-based economy ...

Alternative bio fuels are the way to go. Glad Obama is putting pressure on BP should have done this sooner though.
