We all know that we are not perfect in this real world when trying to develop relationships at many, all, or the ultimamte......
I have found that there are better personalities out there that I need to work on.
I am not perfect by all means.
I am a caring, sharing, loving indidual at all levels.
Life is not about "threads" on a post....
Nor is it a post hanging on a "thread"...
I grew up in the 70's where dating happened in the community...
Not on the WWW like we have today.
Remember that we are still dealing with real people albeit behind a computer monitor....
I ask of all our friends on this site to to read and listen to all of us online.
Healthy listening, healthy support and healthy advice will give us all an opportunity to create what this site is here to do for us.

As was already stated, anything can and is projected from behind
the screen, however there are those of us that put forth honest
effort to reach out whether for friends, partners, or both. That's
why I love the forums here, they let you get to really know people
at both their best, and worst. Some say it's a waste of time, that
they are just not trying, but that's exactly what they are doing.
Getting to know others in a "community" type setting, if you will,
on such a wide range of topics, see their reactions to different
people and things, go through other's good times as well as bad,
cheer them up, give advice, or take a good pill of honesty if needed,
even if it isn't what you necessarily want to hear. It's about as
"real" as it's going to get for the WWW. I personally think it beats
signing up, and waiting for your "soulmate" to fall into your lap.

P.S. To Buttons...I don't know if you remember the help thread you
started a while back, and some answers were not exactly...helpful?
I, for one, apologise if what was said caused any added frustration,
it was not meant to, and was actually half serious. I have indeed
had an uhh, eccentric individual, on the other site I used to be on
pretty much stalk me for a while, even started sending me emails
that talked of marriage, and we had never even talked on the phone,
let alone met. I hope every thing went alright with your situation,
and hope their are no ill feelings.
