You can predict how your children and your husband will react under certain conditions because that's based on empyrical evidence, meaning prior experiences; but this is at such a low level of consciousness that it's no better than understanding what your dog wants and needs. Most women have no idea how complex male thought is, because they think we're simple creatures with simple wants and needs (food and sex among others) and concentrate on fulfilling or denying these basic needs as a way of structuring and maintaining their female-viewed world.

And, as horrible as this sounds, it's because it's been taken out of context.

No I don't think so. Most guys are very similar, the way they think and what they want and their needs etc. Neither women aren't much different from each other really. But guys and women are sharply different, when it comes to relationships.

When it comes down to why, it's mother nature and basic instinct. Nearly all female species are complex (including animals) and males are generally straightforward. The female complexcity comes from the fact, that regardless of all this BS and equality talk, women has to choose when it comes to finding the right partner, because as mother nature supposed to dictate, that guy is gonna be the one who will have to provide you with a child and beyond that defend you and be the provider of food etc.. This requires careful planning and choices to be made, much more critical than the guys have to, since if you get pregnant, it's you who has to carry around extra weight and take the pain for 9 months, and later, to raise the kids.
Even if women aren't looking for a guy to have a kid, the same basic instinct kicks in, because nobody can defy Mother Nature, no matter what.

For guys, it's all about finding the right women and trying to defeat the competition. It used to be only basic strength in the stone age, but now since we communicate with a language , it's also brains.

That's why I'm saying there is really nothing to guys. They want food, they want a general place where they can live, and they want sex and there is really nothing else women should worry about once those things are provided, you got yourself a partner who stays with you.

i believe this my point of this thread! for you men are as individual as a woman... for you all dont think the same as much as you all try to bunch yourself in the same catorgory!man and women are different such as each man is different from each other as well as each woman is different from each other!

Most Nobel Prize winners are men. These are the same men who dutifully sit at the table and listen to their wives tell them about the mailman dropping off a package, the dog peeing on the couch and the steak being slightly burned. He nods and smiles and seems contented. She tells her friends how simple his needs are and how easy he is to understand.

Yet, this same man is able to theorize the double helix between mouthfuls of mash potato and to make tremendously intuitive leaps across logical chasms, such leaps as have dragged the rest of humanity up from the cave...into that nice kitchen where his wife can tell him about the mailman and the dog and the steak, thinking how simple and uncomplicated he is.

Ladies, if that's all you see, you haven't tried to see.

I am basing my thoughts on how simple and easy my sons were, are...they are men now and I have learned much about the way the male brain works by raising them alone, talking with them, knowing what is important to them, what they care about, what hurts them, what makes them happy, what they want in life.
It's called communication...I have had that with my children in their un jaded, innocent way.
My relationship and the understanding is far different than that of a dog. What I've learned of men via my sons goes way beyond throwing them a plate of food and petting them on the head.
Women don't live in the female-viewed world any more than men live in their male-viewed world. The thing is Sir, that the male, masculine ways have not served us well, look at the world.
I happen to be an advocate for men and the pressure put on them by society...my one great hope is that I have raised my sons differently than my brothers were raised.

and female types as well philosphies on life love and family, coupled with commonalities inthought process influence and direct what and whom your are dealing. This may apply in differently amongst these variables in types of relationships. I do believe males and females definitely intake and output information differently creating complications in communication.

LOL, I came to the conclusion, that one must be single and have a lot of time on their hand. I have met guys just like me (almost carbon copy of me) and they all carried the traits of being single, having too much time on their hand and usually broke. But at the same time they are interested in many things. It really comes down to what to do with all the extra spare time on my hands, which would have spent in a dead-end job pulling double shifts and trying to raise a family.
So every bad thing has a good side to it.

My comments were not said to bash...or to take away the uniqueness of men. All of my sons are unique also, the only thing the same about them is what's between their legs.

Both genders have been raised to have a male -female view of the world.
Instead of expending so much energy on figuring out why were different we could be appreciating the differences....there is a balance that is formed between us if we allow it.

Seems the biggest problem is both sexes feel un appreciated, misunderstood and taken for granted. Communication and appreciation for our 'uniqueness' could go along way in that department.
