Yes, you definately need to see it in the theaters, that's over half the experience with this movie.

I just went and saw it again, god I love this movie. I totally reccommend seeing it a second or third time(I plan on going a couple more times) because I found stuff I missed the first time when I watched it the second.

I am jaded...I hate when they do remakes of old movies and shows.
Case in point:
"The day the earth stood still"
I grew up watching old Sci-fi reruns, and old black and white movies, I love the stuff, can't get enough of it.
I am also a big fan of Keanu Reeves, I mean..it's NEO from the Matrix, right?
So I went to see the movie...IT SUCKED, it was the worst rendition of a remake I have ever seen!!!!!
The same is true for old series and "Knight Rider", never mind it's a Ford (Puah) the whole show was bombed from the get go...So here I am once more, contemplating if I should go see the A-Team...Ummm...I am getting ready for another heart break...

You wont have a heartbreak honestly. A lot of the original cast had good reviews of the movie and Mr. T wished me made a cameo after he saw the finished version.

I am usually un-happy with shows made into movie too, but this one is different.

He said he regretted not doing one after watching the finished project.
