I mean, thats weak commands play the same as play favorites, and go out in playoff may every country. Remember WC 2006, when South Korea play in semifinal. It's my point.

Saving the best for last, Brazil up against Cote De Ivoire.
Ivory Coast surprised me with their strength and resilience in their game against Portugal. If they can repeat this performance today, they have a chance against their more fancied opponents. I shall not hide my wish of seeing another upset here. Go GO Cote de Ivoire.......!!!!!!! Another win for Brazil.........WHY OH WHY Do Brazils opponents always play witht their tail between their legs?? Ok they show respect but COME ON!!! Show some balls for christ sake!!! Put some pressure on!!! Everytime someone plays us they want to overthrow and leave sweat and tears on that field.......with Brazil they all act like a bunch of pansies.. 3 - 0 Im walking away...... |

Kaka´s expolsion.......
What a drama queen!!!.....Costa player gets the Oscar, looking like he got his eyeballs gashed out.... another goal would of been nice with Brazil with 10 players..... |

Ivory Coast was surprisingly strong against Brazil, but couldn't keep up with the Brazilian onslaught.

Tomorrow Portugal vs. N. Korea.
It's time to get N. Korea out of this WC..I hope the Portuguese are knocking their sorry arses back to communist land. And it's at 7am (ET) DAmn! and the American channels suck, none of them replay later?? |

Ivory Coast was surprisingly strong against Brazil, but couldn't keep up with the Brazilian onslaught. Onslaught??? all the brazilians had to do was zamba that ball around a bit and find Ivories weak spots. Ivory Coast put no pressure on the brazilans as far as I saw....... Ivory Coast has good strong players...... they could of brough alot more to that field...... |
|

Well Drogba had a lovely header. Luis Fabiano two great goals.
Brazil did dominate pretty easily. Cote did not put up as stiff an opposition as expected... But what gets me is all the ridiculous DIVING. I'm embarrassed to watch it with my son! What is this teaching him about sportsmanship when every other play there is some crazy fake rolling around on the turf clutching some untouched body part!!?? Really! Grumble. Fake spasms of nonsense. |

Putting pressure on Brazil is easier said than done... that's why they're then number 1 team in the world. although they won, but I still miss the old brazillian style. |

Let me put it this way, you about ready to box the world champion boxer, you train for 4 years, you gonna whimper out and stay in your corner or go out fighting? Neither the Koreans nor the Ivories went out there to win, they went to defend a 0-0, with the Koreans playing 8 defense hanging on the goal posts and the Ivories with an off chance to make a lucky long shot in the game. The brazilans are winning these matches without so much as a hair getting outta place and a few fancy foot twirls, that I hope they trip on one of these days for being such show offs......Im waiting to see a team play against them that aren´t afraid of them. And if they win its because they are indeed the best and they showing it. |

It was amazing. Portugal : Korea 7:0. Great game of great team. Korea go home. I hope that match Portugal - Brazil will be the best of the champ.

Looks like the French have totally lost it... http://g.sports.yahoo.com/soccer/world-cup/blog/dirty-tackle/post/France-continue-infighting-refuse-to-train-dir?urn=sow,249880 Oh yes!!!! The French have totally lost it without even having to play their last match (or so if seems). Moreover, all that Uruguay and Mexico have to do tomorrow is to play out a dull draw, and they're both safely through. |

Watching that game, it's hard to say whether Portugal was actually that good, or if Korea was actually that bad... I feel it was more of a Korea being that bad game, myself. Portugal has one more game to say otherwise, though. |

What a crazy day! And New Zealand?! Awesome!! What a game!?!?!
Really surprising in contrast to the Brazil match. Smeltz did it! I love that name. i'm sure that's the way the Azzurri feel about it. Shane Smeltz!! Paraguay still looking great too. Looking forward to see them take on NZ on Thurs. Got the Chile/Switz on in the background.... Whoa! Red card for Switz. Gonna be a tough slog now. I see Ronaldo gonna make the highlights today... 7-nil! Guess the N Korean goal blockade didn't pan out this time... |
