This is a counter thread to the "why are you here"?  Here is the real reason: You have made a mistake either -before -during -after your last relationship. The theory of "not my fault" doesn't work. It takes 2 to fail a relationship. Once you admit to yourself that you aren't a sweet angel who never makes a mistake and forgive yourself (we are all humans), then you are on the right track. And if you had more failed ones, than that reapplies, that you ran in the mouse wheel more times, only to fall out of it and then realized (after a while) that you weren't getting anywhere, no matter how fast or hard you were running. One thing is sure, you cannot fail if you never try and failing is not a bad thing when it comes to relationships, but take it as a challenge you have gone through. Anyone who says that they have never had a failed relationship, they are either lying, never had a relationship, or living in a fake shallow world, and most likely less experienced than you or me (supposedly anyone reading this is a single who had failed relationship(s) on this dating site. |

Why does a break up have to be a "failure?" I don't feel like any of my relationships are failures...they just ended. Because 99% of the people view their single-ness as a failure of themselves or someone else's who failed them. Well, I don't Then you are the 1%

Well it was more 20/80. I know I had some faults, i'm human after all, but it was her after 15 years that found someone else unfortunately.

I am a little amazed in retrospect what an a**hole I could be. However........I wasn't the one that snorted meth, turned into a mean, paranoid freak and slammed my spouse into a wall.

I'm single because I needed to get my **** together after making bad decisions while with my last girlfriend. In that relationship, I lost myself, and it's taken the better part of two years to find me again, and get my life back on track.
I needed to get to this point where I am secure enough in myself and my life so I do not let the past repeat itself. |

As to why I am single - I am divorced so I was married for a very long time- after that I had a few boyfreinds - nothing that lasted, and I had one on and off 5 yr relationship that was not in my best interests. Much of that post divorce stuff was prolly because I really wasn't ready to settle down. I am being careful this time. Usually I at least date - at this point, it's been about a year or so since I have even done that - just being careful - prolly too careful, trying to assess whether I really am "ready" to settle down - prolly if I met the right guy... and as someone else said - just haven't had someone ask me lately where I feel reciprocation |

Well I was single before
Cause I didn't go out with him yet then he asked me I was no longer single we broke up single again we are back together stronger than before I am no longer single Simple!
