Monetary concerns are the furthest thing from mind..as I a feeling the planet die... Thoughts are, the stuff they used to disperse the oil evaporated and mixed with the rain clouds. I hadn't thought of the rain because the oil is too heavy to evaporate quickly. Now, I'll have to change and put my prediction that land and people will feel the poisonous effects for at least 500 miles or, as far as toxic rain clouds can travel. |

There's a ripple effect...we are going to see the day, and regret that we ever wet so deep into the belly of Mother Earth. When the last animal and plant dies and we only have left the oil and the dollar, then we'll know it was not the $$ or oil that have sustained us. |

Whaaaaaaa ... ? This really is attributing human qualities to an inanimate object ... 'earth' does NOT 'feel' or 'hurt' or 'cry' ... Last I checked, these are the result of things like 'projection', 'transference', and 'anthropomorphism' ... We are an OIL-DEPENDENT ECONOMY. 'Holy Mother the Urth' will have to put up with us until something else comes along ... |

'Holy Mother the Urth' will have to put up with us until something else comes along ... The planet is not an inanimate object..she is alive., the very life force that keeps us alive. Or does that concept escape you., seems so. She cries and feels more than most people. And they wonder why I spend all my time up the mountain... She will not have to put up with it..she will fight back. She has already begun to do so. Hurricane season should be interesting this year. |

Since mother nature is an interactive eco system there will be repercussions for what we do on this planet. We do not even realize the damage we do most of the time until it is too late to fix it. That is just how man is, a scourge to his environment.
Talk about self deprecating, man needs this planet to survive and he will tear it down at every chance given, cutting himself off at the knees. |

According to geology, the Earth is a Closed system, not "interactive". I would encourage you to contact a professor of geology about this in your area, as you are lacking in basic knowledge of this. |

From what I get out of what he is stating, is the scientific aspect. Science has explained what happens when different interactions take place. California is an example. They build in areas where wild fires have always occurred. That's a natural thing. It's only been lately scientists have discovered fire is one way forests get replenished. This oil deal is a man-made catastrophe. I don't know anyone that's not dependent on oil or oil based products. Where the culpability lies is with US politicians and inspectors allowing BP to get away with being cheap. No one is going to jail. BP and all the politicians involved will do business as usual. |
