If your emails have been appropriate, I see no reason for them not getting back to you. I always answer emails, even when not interested, just because it's the right thing to do. I let them know there is no mutual attraction but I don't just leave them hanging.
Sorry for your experiences .. just keep at it. You'll find some who do

Judy, I used to respond to all emails as well but I got tired of the abusive replies! Sometimes not replying is a way to avoid members who get defensive and harassing. 
I block those members, of course, but it’s sad we have to take those steps. |
