if u think u know him so well and really care boud him, why not? Age doesnt matter for me, i dated with 17 yr older guy than me, and we're doing fine.
But i think u have to wait a bit longer, find out who really is the person u wanna meet is, since u just talking only in about one month.

I have driven 3,600 mile round trip twice, and 2,800 miles round trip. If you are not playing around and are into the possibility of meeting a person that may make an impact on your life and you on theirs, them make sure that is what you wish and desire to do and......Do It... I have seen far to much of the....."it's too far" thing going on....Commit or don't.....At least that is how I feel about it..........

If I am flying cross country to meet someone, then I will demand the following..

(1). She live close to an amusement park.
(2). Bacon and eggs every morning...pancakes on the third day.
(3). I get to bring my PS3 and other nerd accessories.
(4). Lube
(5). Give me one hour to enjoy sportscenter every day.
(6). A two day exploration of the town she is in. Hey...gotta check out the local scene to see if I like it.
(7). Slinky.....don't ask!

I'm a travelin' fool. I'd personally rather drive than fly, but I'd have no problem hitting the road or hopping a plane to go meet someone I'd been talking to for a period of time. I trust my instincts.

About 2 yrs ago I met a lady on this very site and we communicated a lot over the phone, text, email, computer with the cam. We talked for hours and hours at a time and really got to know one another. This went on for 4+ months. One day she says I got to meet you I am driving down. I had thought many times of driving there but I had custody of my dsughter and could not go. So she drove from North Dakota to meet me in Phoenix.

Long story short, I could not wait for her leave and the day she left was the last day we ever talked.

What happened? Not Clue. It just fell apart quick

Answer to your question is, HELL NO; I would not go over 100 miles to meet anyone. Not just because of one bad experience I had but because of the experienced I gained over it.

Asking someone to change their life for you or you to change yours when there are miles between you two is a lot to ask. If you are going 100's of miles I'm guessing you want more than a hook up. A long distant relationship when the two people have never met is a gamble that if lost, will go very bad.

I am not saying it wont work and for those who have made it work, good for them. It’s not impossible just very difficult,

If I got to know someone (as well as one can via phone, e-mail, etc.), and liked him, I`d definitely cross the country to meet him. I`m a gambler, by nature, lol.
